Getting their Sparkle On!

We had a crazy fun time in the snow the other day.   The girls dance studio had another photo contest.  They posted on FB to take pictures of the dancers dancing in the snow and we would vote on the best one.  I was all cozy and warm on our family snow day but couldn't resist a photography challenge.  We let the girls pick out their favorite sparkly tu-tus and hit the yard.   They had a blast and the neighborhood finally confirmed we are completely nuts as they drove by our house in awe.   We got some fun shots of them in the cutest colors and sassy poses.  After 5 or 10 minutes Abigail started to shiver so we came in for coats.  It was a funny random memory.   I came inside and thanked Brian once again ( I do often) for giving me daughters!  They are so stinkin fun!!!!!

staying busy...not really

 so my kid!!!!!

Abigail caught me throwing this onesie out with the baby clothes and protested "no mom!  I can still wear that"   I thought she was crazy...she proved me wrong.  wow.  Look at that 'I told you so' smile!

Abigail found a way to change up a normal meal with a table cloth of her favorite baby blanket and blue glasses.  It worked,  it entertained us for a minute :)

Toughing out the winter pictures.   We get through the boredom but we are at least together.   Love these girls and Brian and I equally are entertained by them.

New years eve '12

Busted!  The men were enjoying their disgusting display of peace and quiet in their room,  well we had more fun in ours!
It's funny how over the years with these friends, we have unofficially assigned holidays to each family.   We all have our ritual times of year we open our homes to each other.   For New Years Eve it's usually Nick and Tara,  well Nick usually works so it's just Tara.  :)  We had another great time with these folks that are practically family.   I love the crazy kids on the couch shots.  They are getting bigger and fitting on that sofa less and less each year.   It's always a s good time and always ends at the very non party hour of 8 or 9 pm so we can get our kids to bed.   Oh well,  we know the new year comes.  We just are too pooped to stay up
to see it anymore.  These wild kids have gotten us dull and unexciting in our old age, but hey.  At least we are all growing old together :)  We text each other the next day to wish our Happy New Years to each other !
