Awesome time with our buddies from across the pond. These kids had a ball at the old stomping grounds getting their country on. Hope the Coles keep this tradition up, it's a good one. Chloe had a ball, only learning to walk just barely before we hit the party. She wobbled and toppled but had a great time. Katie and Abigail on the John Deer was just crazy cute! Thanks a bunch for the great fall party.

A day with the ducks
I took the girls today to an old stomping ground of my childhood. The duck pond. Aptly named because it's filled with hungry birds hoping for french fries. There has been a Burger King beside this location since I was a kid and mom used to bring us there to throw our fries at the birds. It's a great place to enjoy a beautiful fall day. Me and the girls had a great time.

park play
Just a last minute trip to our favorite park today. We grabbed some of our buddies with bit sized pals to go enjoy the cooler weather. Abigail loved playing with all her favorite friends and Chloe drooled with envy for the days when she could keep up with all the wild girls. Chloe at least got in some swing time. This little fearless girl loves to move fast and feel the wind in her face. Good times.

school days
We started school this week. Abigail was so excited. All summer she kept asking me "mommy can I please go to school?" " are all the other kids going or are they on bacation too??". Oh if only I could keep that enthusiasm for down the road when she cries at summer's end and for vacation to be over. We start the 4 year old class and I'm so excited about it. I love her teachers and she'll keep some of her buddies from last year. Some we've lost to other pre-K programs. Today I could tell she was a little nervous but still anxious to get the school year started. I'm so proud of my girl.
