It was a warm night and our beautiful pumpkin cake really started to sag by the time we got around to eating it but that's ok, we still had a ball making it and it still tasted good.
We are so lucky to have kids born in such fun festive months of the year. Brian and I love to throw parties so much and the big 01 for our little Chloe was no exception. We went with a pumpkin theme for the little munchkin and some Winnie the Pooh on the side. She doesn't have too many interests yet but there is a book we were given about the Pooh bear looking for honey for his tummy and it's one of her favorites. We read it almost every night. We had a family filled personal guest list for the big event. Deana and Greg were out of town at a wedding so they got to come over and have a personal party on her actual birthday with us. Everyone else showed on Sunday and God gave us just a perfect October evening for the party. We went all out for the food....always...and everyone had a ball just watching the birthday crumpet waddle in and out of the guests with a big gummy smile on her face. Abigail was such a good helper and loved having her Ben and Caroline and Katie and Annabelle there to play with her. Chloe was so wired and just was so stinkin cute how much she enjoyed the party. It was a blessed day for a blessed little girl. Happy birthday my sweet little love you are the perfect edition to our crazy family unit. You light our days and fill us all with joy. You are the most fun squeezable little baby girl and your eyes still melt us as much now as the day you were born. Happy big 01 Chloe Brianne!!!
