Chloe is 5!!

This year I wanted to go as far out as we could to celebrate our sweet Chloe hitting the big 05!!   We spent months getting her to commit to a theme and she finally decided on a Finding Nemo party.    We were able to find a picnic pavilion to house the crowd and do it right.    It was a gamble for an October party but God was good and it was chilly and breezy but not unbearable.    I got my pinterest on and hand made many of the decorations including Chloe's ribbon skirt.   I wanted so badly for her to feel as special as she is!   We did a mish mosh of guests from school, church, and dance and she loved the combination of so many aspects of her little world all in one place....celebrating her!    We had a great time together and I hope she'll look back on it one day as one of her favorites.  It will be one of mine for sure.  Happy birthday our darling Chloe!!!!

Master class with Tom Alexander!

The kids got a unique opportunity this weekend to work with a professional dancer in their own studio.   Abigail has taken his classes before at a dance competition but it was Chloe's first "master class" and taking under a professional.   I was so nervous for her and all of the Bitties but they did wonderful and came out beaming with excitement.    It was the first required event of this dance season and our first with 2 kids in the company.   I can't wait to get Chloe's tap shoes wet so to speak in all this new fun!    She is thrilled to be a part and Abigail is trying not to drop too much sisterly advice on her all at once dealing with it.   She's been so supportive and loves sharing it with her baby sister.  It's going to be a season to remember!!!

Keepin an eye on Chloe.  The girls were in different classes because of their ages.

The Junior company watching the Bitties and Minis :)  I think they were enjoying being the "big kids" for the day

Go soccer buddies!!!

Chloe lost interest in the game briefly and decided to build a 'sandcastle' in the baseball dirt :)

We ventured out early this Saturday morning to cheer on some dear friends of ours in one of their soccer games.   It was a beautiful October morning and so we grabbed our coffee and our camping chairs to hit the sidelines and scream some support!  Luckily several of Abigail's school friends are all on the same team so she had a blast sitting and watching them do their thing.  They too were adorable watching the sidelines to see if their buddy was watching. I'm sure they weren't used to peers watching, only parents.  It was fun to be their cheering section!   Such sweet girls they are all.  It was a great time!
