Dinner on the town.....

Saturday night we hit the town with Deana, her new man Greg and Christine for a glamerous dinner and a tour of the trees. We had a wonderful dinner in the Pine Room. Abigail marveled us all refusing her baby tray and pulling up to the table with the 'big people'. And I was proud as peach and shocked when I looked over and caught her opening up her napkin and laying it in her lap like an adult!!!! She nibbled at her plate quietly almost forgetting we had a 17 month old even joining us. It was a great meal!

After dinner we walked around and looked at all the themed Christmas trees the businesses all over the valley display around the lobbies. They had piano music playing Christmas carols and a roaring fire in the giant fire place. It was beautiful!! Abigail loosened up then and remembered it was ok to be a kid. She ran wild in her little plaid skirt and black mary janes, in and out of the decked out couples in black ties and evening gowns looking for an elegant evening!!! There must have been a wedding going on or something. She even found another little 20 mo old girl decked out in her santa dress to play with. She always seems to find a friend. I'm afraid our Bit was a bad influence on her cause she was behaving so nicely til she caught sight of the fun Abigail was having. The 2 of them took over the peacful place and had a great time. Luckily we seemed to get more smiles then frowns from our invasion. And her good Daddy didn't let her get too baby crazy chasing her all over the place! The sweet thing was he really didn't mind. And mommy kept up capturing all the kodak moments :)

We took our time and had a wonderful time feeling full and taking in all the sites of the season. Thanks family for a special evening together. And welcome Greg, we enjoyed you spending the evening with us!!!
