We got a nice surprise today as we near the end of winter.  I guess Punxsutawney Phill the ground hog was right this year.  This Sunday I spent the afternoon enjoying the snow fall from the hospital windows and it was just beautiful blanketing the city.   It was a slow day on L&D so I was able to leave a little early.  I made it home to a cozy content family.  I'm not sure why but Abigail waited until 6 o'clock to express her desire to go out and play in it all.  Not wanting to miss our one opportunity to play in snow this winter we geared up and headed out in the night to let the girls have their fun.  Chloe mostly liked to scream and run and eat the snow.  Where Abigail for the first time seemed to enjoy the idea of playing it.  Usually she whines with in minutes of the cold air but maybe a wild sister is loosening her up some.  They had a nice snow ball fight with Brian.  Luckily no body got too aggressive attacking mommy hiding out in her pajama pants under the eave w/ the camera.   We came inside to Brian making everyone hot chocolate, a  fire in the fireplace and he popped us up a big bowl of popcorn while I snuggled the red faced children.  It was a great night.  A phone call from the county announcing no school Monday morning made it complete.
