"Bully" the dance mascot having dinner with us
Ready to head home from a wild week. I remember "Low Rider" came on the radio and we played it loud and all started jamming, I love my family!!
I realized once we were going into Ruby Tuesdays we all still had on our matching dance family tee shirts. Oh well, secret's out....we are dance nerds!
Well there was some drama about choosing this year's location for our nationals event that our school would attend. Our teachers made a last minute change from SC to Florida and in the transition we lost more then half of our kids who could not make reservation change to the new venue. It was hectic and frustrating for the kids and parents to try to make the last minute switch. Luckily we were able to get a full refund on our reservation so we were able to transition to Panama City. We only stayed a few days due to increased expenses but we did manage to still make some great memories and the kids of course, still had a ball. We go with the flow in this world but it was hard on the remaining kids redoing spacing and last minute choreography changes to account for the loss in numbers. We had some highs and lows with the changes but overall it was still a good experience. We had a great time on our road trip. We always do when we get some time together. We'll see what next season brings but for now, ahhh, home again!
