Only at Anma's house is it perfectly acceptable to play with your food!!
Chloe this is dinner, dinner this...is Chloe!
One of my favorite parks in the whole world, is Two Lights park. Brian and I visited there right after we got engaged and it was so special to return...oh gosh lets see....12 years later with the girls.
Abigail was cautious as she could be over the sharp rocks with deep crevices in between, but Chloe was fearless and couldn't skip across them fast enough! I constantly hollered at her to come away from the edge!!!!
This is picture proof, of how thrilled at her mommy for continuing to fuss at her but at least in this shot you can see the depth perception of how much of a drop she was close to!
...aaaand she's off again. "Catch up to her hun!!"
I love love love this shot. It's our two kids perfectly. Adventurer fearless Chloe in the front and "Mommy hold my hand" waiting on me :) And Brian, not really worried about either and enjoying the view along the way! Love these 3!!!!!
candle pin bowling means smaller ball for kids and they all had a blast!
Abby and Abby were quite the pair!
This was by far the most difficult time the kids have had yet leaving our Maine family behind after such a fun visit. Both kids were really sad to pull away. A true sign of good times had and lots of love waiting for their next return.
We had a wonderful time squeezing in a crazy visit north...really north the day after Christmas this year. It had been way too long since our last visit so we made it work and prayed hard for no snow on our travels. We were blessed beyond words with a fantastic time catching up with Bri's family. We took the girls to some of our favorite sights and met up with some of Brian's old drama club buddies from high school. We got to eat amazing food ...so amazing! And got to get to know Lynn's daughters and grandchildren who all live close by. Abigail really took to "the other Abigail" and that was a very hard parting at the end of that day. The two really bonded but exchanged cell phone numbers so they could stay in touch. We made more great memories and I really hope it doesn't take us as long to make the trip up again. I wish we had a jet plane when we needed it! But the love and laughter proved once again they are every bit worth the long car ride. I hope we go again soon, I do so love sitting around that kitchen table drinking coffee with them with the fire place roaring in the next room. It's just good stuff!! love those folks!!
